heyy peeps. at an Internet Cafe in Guoyang, China, now. so pissed off. apparently, they restrict ppl below 18, and this applies to me, a foreigner. and it's so unfair, coz where else am i supposed to find a connection? good thing i didn't stick to my original plan for my L.A portfolio, i.e. sending my homework materials to my 406 pals via email (i got permission for extension from tchr for that), coz that would have been a disaster, since i can hardly reach a decent Internet connection from here >.<
so how come i can post now, you wonder? yea, coz my dad paid for one comp, and he let me use it after he's done. i suppose they'll start chasing me out soon. needda pass this comp to jamie now. she's staring at me ^~^

how come they are soo inflexible with the use of Internet around here?? oh well, i guess if a china girl went to Singapore, she would face the same problem. from this incident, you can see what a country bumpkin i am. i hardly know there's an age restriction for the use of Internet cafe :P

it's here, it's here, it's FINALLY here!!! waaahhhh~~~ (in case u're lost, im talking about the teens icon audition, which i was starting to wonder if they lost my application form somewhere...).
it'll be held this sat from 10am-4pm at CHIJMES. and i'm so not prepared. i was panicking a minute ago. but i've decided on a song le... phew. now the hard part is the jumping key section. i keep jumping to a key too high. anyway, just need to practise, practise, and practise!! GANBATTE, JENNY.
jamie came home today and told me her grp has
written a song, n surprisingly, the tune is seriously
not bad. even i can't do that *jealousjealous*! but i must admit, this gave me inspiration to start composing again soon. it's kindda fun actually.it's so brilliant of them to form a grp, give themselves a name, and do fun stuffs like composing tunes and writing lyrics. i should do sth liddat soon ^.^
and yang laoshi called the hse again, informing my dad that my request for leave has been approved, so im going to China this sat. this is both good and bad news for me. coz im so totally lookin forward to church flag day on 27th May, as well as the countless of marvellous movies im hopin to catch.
ahh well.

TONS of homework. but basically the problem is my portfolio, which needs to be handed in by 1st June. honestly, u can so conclude that escape is not a solution to anything. but i've got a plan. a NOT fool proof one.see, i'll just bring daddy's laptop along to China, do my essays and everything in microsoft word, find a Internet Cafe in Shanghai, email the stuffs to my lovely friends, they print for me, file the materials into my portfolio... and WALA.

omg im feeling so sad now... i just read the grp blog created for me n my four long term pals. the last two entries were posted by my gd fren, n she's very sad now. i wish i had known all these earlier. it's so terrible when u know ur fren is in need of comfort and you aren't there to help.
i'm sure she knows who she is, and i just hope she'll feel better because we'll all be there to support her all the way!
actually, her entries made me realise how fortunate yet selfish i had been. since this year, i haven't really taken time off to talk to my old buddies, only indulging in my new found social life. i dont deny the fact that my current grp of frens in class has made me more confident and sure of myself, especially since my class is very bonded compared to other classes. but i shld've paid more attention to my old friends who might need me now.
i guess i was just sick of being outcasted for so long that i forgot myself when i found my social anchor in 406.
so much so that i neglected my gd friends from lower sec.
selfish.stupid.me.
and just a few weeks ago, i was still asking for more, wanting to have a more exciting social network. and i felt i was losing my identity and personality. but thanks to lynn, i have found myself again. and i'm here to help!

ooh goshgoshgosh. im going back to China this sat. aftnn flight. and i'll be stopping over at Wuxi for a day during the trip. that means i'll be visiting my china pals again. havent seen them since the immersion last yr(: miss them loads, especially

She's thinkin of signing up for a vocal course but she needs 7 ppl to form a class. i've joined her n her frens, so we've got abt 4 or 5 ppl now. still need a few more. shall ask wing kee soon.

changed skin n layout. wasn't exactly sick or bored with the yellowy stars one, but i just wanted to try sth new.
anyway, dont have much to blog abt lately. too caught up with school work. n i've been flying around alot too. bangkok, phuket, bali (last wk)... n heading to china in 2 wks time.
kindda caught up in the Korean media whirlwind too. what with all those beautiful kdrama spreading around, i think i might pick up that language soon. speakin of which, im thinkin of self learning Jap again. soon.

as soon as im free from school i guess.
i got inspired when i met this guy from poly on the trip to bali. he's local, n he could converse with my mum in fluent Jap after learning for only 2mths. every day, that is. sth like a crash course i think.
so i figured it wont be hard for me to pick up that language again, since i've learnt it before. n it's such a lovely language.
n i totally want to learn guitar now.
thinkin more n more abt crossing the bridge this yr. im excited n nervous abt it. it's gonna be like a whole new phase of my life. pickin new subjects, meeting new ppl, not to mention preparing to launch onto my career path, which till now, is still like... foggy with 3 paths branching out...
