new link, new look, new identity!! (i've yet to have time to work on that new look, but anyway...)from now on i'll be known as the blur, childish, cheer bear wannbe bio rep ^-^ doesnt that just sound absolutely exciting? wheeps. i think care bears is such a good idea, whoever produced these furry friends is a genius. if you go take a look at the website, it's really fantastic and teaches all the good values a kid shld know and have.
amazingly, and believe it or not, every one of us actually fit into one of those care bears in one way or another. i chose cheer bear, of course, coz i feel like all the other bears have a lot of responsibilities, like giving out wishes (Wish Bear), winning every sports game (Champ Bear) yadda yadda ya. so cheer bear is like the hippiest one i can agree on. besides, being cheerful is GOOD.
though care bears seem childish, but they carry and represent the goodness in this world, and people usually only ignore and shun things that reflect the ugliness in them right? so if we're not evil or totally hateful, why then shld we discriminate care bears just because they are cartoon characters? instead, shldnt we pay attention to the qualities of these cartoon characters and ask ourselves what goodness and precious values have we lost on the journey of growing up?
it's no longer a matter of childishness or not, but a matter of admittance and acceptance that we are no longer as perfect and beautiful as how God first created us to be, and the willingness to be reminded once again of how we shld behave and to change.
