You must know that nanyang tchrs are known to set physics papers that are literally impossible to do, they are famous for giving weird questions every yr, and it's like an evil reputation they have to live up to. You must also know the suffering of some physics students, such as yours truly, who fail to listen attentively in class for the entire yr and is unfortunate enough to sit for a paper that is set by her own physics tchr. Lastly, you must know that an average sec4 physics student in ny will generally aim for a pass for any physics paper.

Thus, knowing all 3 points as mentioned above, you will finally know what immense joy and relief it is to me, that I, jenny, not only passed my physics paper this yr, which is absolutely a killer i swear, but passed with a 63(:

WAHHH YAYYYYY!!!!

Honestly. I thought I would definitely fail, like, miserably. But no, I didn't, and though this result is still below average, I exceeded my own expectations, which, by the way, is not very high for sciences.

Oh, and I got the exact same mark for bio, and I must say that is a disappointment, because bio is the only science I can understand and revise for without tearing out my hair and lose sleep.

And not to mentioned I failed the chem paper by 1 mark. But seriously, this yr's chem paper is SO ambiguous. I won't say my answers are wrong, it just so happens what I wrote were not the KEY WORDS, or the CORRECT ANSWER, as they call it. I just detest such papers. So rigid. So inflexible. So evil.

But I don't deny my low capacity of chemical knowledge. My basics are weak, I admit, and chemistry just happens to be one of those subjects that literally live on basics. So since my foundations are weak, I can be prepared to suffer at the hands of chemistry forever, as long as I have to take it. Thus, I shall drop it ASAP. Hopefully when I go NZ.

But strangely, even though I didn't do exceptionally well for this exam, I thought I made improvements, and I actually LIKED what I was studying. Like, I actually really understood some things and found them interesting. I'm even tempted to continue doing practise papers now. So, who knows, maybe I won't drop any science afterall(:

But gosh, I'm telling you, I just SO hate BSP.you know, bicultural programme, the prog my class is in currently. I got a 52% for that, and honestly speaking, I have no idea why my four page answer for a Cultural Revolution question only earned me 6 out of 25 marks.

I studied ok! I probably didn't answer to the point, but the annoying thing is, our form tchr who is the setter, gave us this set of notes with regards to the topic for exam, and she said we just have to memorise everything and write down everything during exam and we'll score.

So those who scored are actually those who cut and paste the notes info from memory, while I, who tried to answer based on understanding and own ability, actually got 6/25. Hmm.

Oh well. At least i passed the overall paper. I'm really tempted to curse now, but something is telling me not to contaminate my blog, so you realise I've been really calm about all these from the start.

Well.

I'M NOT.

School is unfair, and it's really it's a place to pick out the ones whose lives revolve around study from those whose lives revolve around other impt things, like spiritual life and personal interest growth.

And results are just plain stupid and inaccurate in measuring ones abilities. Unfortunately that report card is all that the world sees.

God bless me when dad finds one.

Hmm.
